Live Singapore math training for homeschool moms
You bought a specific Singapore math curriculum. Now learn how to actually teach it.
Each workshop is a separate purchase. Not included with any subscriptions.
Five classes, one per grade level
These are not page-by-page walkthroughs of your textbook. Each class covers the big ideas for that level, live, with time for your questions. 4A and 5A run as two sessions each, since there's more ground to cover.
Dimensions 1A
Addition and subtraction within 10 and within 20, math facts, and how to introduce bar modeling for word problems.
Dimensions 2A
3-digit addition and subtraction, with and without regrouping, and the concepts behind multiplication and division.
Dimensions 3A
4-digit addition and subtraction, plus multiplication and division.
Dimensions 4A
Challenging word problems and fractions, across two sessions.
Dimensions 5A
Multiplication and division, plus fractions, across two sessions.
The Bar Modeling Workshop
Bar modeling is the technique that carries kids from arithmetic into pre-algebra. This workshop includes 4 live sessions that build on each other, and provides you with the necessary foundation to teach bar modeling with any curriculum.
Part-Whole & Comparison Models: Addition & Subtraction
The two foundational bar model types, applied to addition and subtraction word problems.
Part-Whole & Comparison Models: Multiplication & Division
The same two model types, now applied to multiplication and division word problems.
Challenging Word Problems: Whole Numbers
Harder, multi-step word problems with whole numbers, and how to model them.
Fractions Word Problems
Applying bar modeling to fraction word problems, where most kids get stuck.

Questions about the live classes
Will this cover everything in the textbook, page by page?
No. Each Dimensions class covers the big ideas for that level and how to teach them, not a page-by-page walkthrough of the whole textbook.
Do I need to already own the Dimensions Math textbook for that level?
Yes, you should have the corresponding textbooks for the sessions you signed up for.
Is this the same as the video library subscription?
No. The live classes are a separate live format, not included with the Foundations Library or Teaching Studio subscription. Each class is purchased on its own.
What's the difference between a Dimensions class and the Bar Modeling workshop?
The Dimensions classes cover the big ideas of one specific grade-level textbook. The Bar Modeling workshop teaches the technique itself across four sessions, and works alongside any grade level or curriculum, not just Dimensions Math.
Can I sign up for more than one class?
Yes. Sign up for as many Dimensions levels as you need, whether that's your child's current level or a lower level to fill a gap, plus the Bar Modeling workshop if you want it.
What if I can't attend a session live?
All sessions are recorded and will be sent to registered parents, typically within a week.
What's the refund or reschedule policy?
You can request a full refund up to 7 days before the first session of any class or workshop. We do not offer make-up classes at the moment. All sessions are recorded and sent to registered parents.
What time zone are the classes in?
All session times are in Central Time (US).
Class full? Couldn't make it? Don't see your curriculum?
