The singapore math circle difference
Many people think of Singapore math as a curriculum or a specific textbook series. It's so much more than that. It's a systematic, research-backed method of building understanding through multiple representations and connecting every new idea to what a child already knows. The textbooks are a part of Singapore's system. The teaching and the delivery are the other part, which has been missing until now. This is why we have built a training system that is curriculum agnostic. We want to show that you can teach math the Singapore way no matter what curriculum you're using, even if it isn't a Singapore math textbook series at all. The method is what you're buying into here.

Some parents give up on the Singapore approach because they lack support. Others push through, but question whether they're doing it right after every lesson. We're here to guide you so that you'll understand why Singapore's methods work, learn how to deliver each lesson, then teach it effectively to your child.
Organized by topics, not by grade level
A grade level doesn't tell you where your child started or where they're headed because mastery is never uniform across a grade level. Your child can be ahead of grade level in one topic, and behind in another. When you understand how each major topic is built out across K–5, you can meet your child exactly where they're at and provide the right level of support and extension that they need.
This problem is especially noticeable in Singapore math. Grade-level expectations vary significantly across different versions of Singapore math textbooks, and most of them do not align completely to U.S. grade standards. When children switch between curriculums, or start Singapore math at a higher grade level, they often run into knowledge gaps and duplicative materials. We've organized the materials for you by topic so that you can track your child's mastery, instead of an inaccurate and inconsistent grade label.
Wenxi Lee
Wenxi Lee is the founder of singapore math circle. She grew up learning math the Singapore way, long before it became a curriculum trend. She went through 12 years of the curriculum that helped Singapore rank #1 in math in the world. She is a trained mathematician from Washington University in St. Louis and holds a PhD in math education from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Is this a curriculum or a parent course?
Singapore math isn't a curriculum. It's a teaching method, and our system is designed to teach you just that. We use a curriculum agnostic approach, so you can use this system with any math curriculum, even ones that aren't Singapore math specific.
Do I need a separate subscription for each of my kids?
No. Our system is designed to teach you, not your kids, so one subscription covers your whole household, no matter how many children you're teaching.
Why isn't this organized by grade level?
Grade levels don't tell you where your child needs help or when to challenge them. This is especially a problem in Singapore math because grade-level expectations differ widely. See the full explanation above.
What's the difference between the Foundations Library and Teaching Studio?
The Foundations Library shows you the why and the how, including the reasoning behind the approaches and lesson demonstrations. The Teaching Studio includes everything in the Foundations Library, plus the Visualizer, our interactive tool for building numbers, working through place value, and watching regrouping in action with digital manipulatives.
Does annual billing lock in at the current price?
Yes. Choosing annual billing locks the current rate for as long as you stay subscribed, even after founding pricing increases. Monthly billing does not lock a rate; it changes with each round of updates.
What topics are available now?
Addition & Subtraction, covering Within 10 through Within 1,000, is live now. Multiplication & Division is dropping in October 2026. Fractions and additional topics are in development and will be added as they're ready.
Do I need to be good at math to teach it at home?
No. Our system is built for parents who don't consider themselves math people. Every lesson walks you through the concept and the reasoning step by step, so you learn the math and how to teach it, at the same time.
